Product Process Characteristics
Single-piece heat-resistant tempered glass basically uses the physical or chemical strengthening technology of flat glass to improve the strength of the glass, so that the glass can withstand the stress generated by rapid heating (or rapid cooling), thus having the function of fire prevention. The fire-resistant mechanism of high-strength single-piece heat-resistant tempered glass is to increase the strength of soda-lime-silica glass to counteract thermal stress and thus avoid rupture caused by the expansion of micro-cracks on the glass surface.
Composite heat-resistant tempered glass is made by adding a layer of transparent and flame-retardant gel between two pieces of glass. When this gel encounters high temperatures, it undergoes an endothermic decomposition reaction, becoming opaque and having the effect of blocking flames.

High glass strength
During a fire, tempered glass expands due to heat, and the glass bends and deforms as a whole. Microcracks on the fire-exposed surface of the glass are subjected to thermal stress and gradually expand, causing the glass to break. Single-piece heat-resistant tempered glass has high strength and greater prestress than ordinary tempered glass, which improves the glass's resistance to thermal stress. When the glass expands due to heat, the high prestress on its surface will offset the thermal stress generated, so that microcracks will no longer expand and cause the glass to break, thereby ensuring fire resistance under flame impact or high temperature.
