Product Process Characteristics
The production process of Ultra Clear Float Glass includes raw material batching, glass melting, tin bath forming, annealing, inspection and cutting, and fine processing. Compared with Clear Float Glass, the production process of Ultra Clear Float Glass is more difficult. It is mainly reflected in two aspects: the first, it is difficult to control the iron content in the glass; the *second, it is difficult to eliminate the bubbles generated during the melting of raw materials.
Feature
1.Low self-explosion rate of glass: Ultra Clear Float Glass raw materials contain less impurities such as NiS, and the raw material melting process is finely controlled. The glass composition is more uniform, which greatly reduces the probability of self-explosion after tempering.
2.Good color consistency: The iron content in the raw materials is only 1/10 of that of Clear Float Glass, or even lower. Ultra Clear Float Glass absorbs less green wavelengths in visible light, ensuring the consistency of glass color.
3.High visible light transmittance: Ultra Clear Float Glass has a visible light transmittance of over 91.5% and has a crystal-clear quality.
4.Low UV transmittance: Ultra Clear Float Glass has a very low UV absorption rate and can effectively block UV rays
Applications
Ultra Clear Float Glass has a unique color and light transmittance, and can be made into large-format glass walls and glass columns. The technical threshold is high, so it is used in the high-end construction market, doors and windows, curtain walls, guardrails, stairs, etc.
