Product Process Characteristics
Clear float glass is made of sand, quartz sand, soda ash, dolomite and other raw materials, which are mixed in a certain proportion and sent into a kiln to be melted into glass liquid at high temperature. The clear float glass liquid flows out of the kiln continuously and floats on the surface of the metal liquid, forming a glass ribbon with uniform thickness and polished by fire. After the glass ribbon cools and hardens, it is separated from the metal liquid and then annealed and cut into transparent and colorless flat glass. Clear float glass has the characteristics of particularly flat and smooth glass surface, very uniform thickness, and very small optical distortion.
The glass liquid flows into the tin bath. Under the action of surface tension and gravity, the glass thickness is more uniform and the product is more transparent. Finally, a glass with good flatness and strong optical properties is formed. This clear float glass has particularly good decorative properties and has good transparency, brightness and purity.
