Product Process Characteristics
The production of silkscreen printed glass consists of five major elements, namely, screen printing plate, squeegee, ink, printing machine and glass substrate. Glass glaze, also known as glass ink, is a paste-like printing material made by mixing coloring material and binder. The coloring material is composed of inorganic pigments and low melting point flux (lead glass powder). The binder is commonly known as scraper oil in the glass screen printing industry.
The basic principle of silkscreen printed glass is to use the basic principle that the mesh of the screen printing plate with images and texts can let ink through, while the mesh of the non-image and text parts cannot let ink through. The process flow is: printing preparation → film loading → positioning → plate and table contact → glaze scraping → glaze return → plate and table separation → film unloading, The final result is silkscreen printed glass
