Product Process Characteristics
The quenching of tempered glass is called the first heat treatment. Heating the tempered glass to 280°C and maintaining it for a period of time, this heating, heat preservation and cooling process is the tempering of the tempered glass, that is, the homogenization treatment of homogeneous glass, also known as the second heat treatment. After the homogenization treatment (second heat treatment), the self-explosion rate of homogeneous glass can be reduced to below 0.1%.
The heat treatment process of homogeneous glass should avoid the furnace temperature exceeding 320℃ and the glass surface temperature exceeding 300℃, otherwise the tempering stress of the homogeneous glass will relax due to overheating, thereby reducing safety.
Feature
1.Safety:the nickel sulfide α phase is completely transformed into the low-temperature stable B phase, which can greatly reduce the self-explosion rate of tempered glass
2.Enhance the glass's resistance to wind pressure, cold and heat, and impact
Thermal stability
Applications
Homogeneous glass is essentially an upgraded version of safety glass that is designed to solve the problem of self-explosion of tempered glass. It is also used in construction, automobiles and other fields.
