China's new overseas investment in glass production lines

    Recently, the three-day 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit was held in Beijing. The Egyptian Embassy in China hosted a signing ceremony for major projects of Sino-Egyptian capacity cooperation in Beijing, and CHINA GLASS HOLDINGS LIMITED was invited to attend as a pioneer enterprise of the "Belt and Road" initiative.

    At the signing ceremony, CHINA GLASS HOLDINGS LIMITED Executive Director and CEO Lv Guo formally signed a land agreement on the Sino-Glass Egypt New Energy Glass Project on behalf of the company and the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as the TEDA Cooperation Zone), marking a key progress in the investment cooperation between the two parties in the field of glass new materials. It is reported that the Sino-Glass Egypt New Energy Glass Project is another international capacity cooperation project under the "Belt and Road" initiative after the Nigeria and Kazakhstan projects, aiming to build a modern glass production line in the TEDA Cooperation Zone. The project will not only meet the growing demand for energy-saving buildings and new energy glass products in the local and surrounding areas, but will also promote the deep integration of the company with the local social economy and share the fruits of prosperity and development.
